Alt Girl Cinema
Alt Girl Cinema brought an alternative cinematic representation of women’s lives to Austin, TX through periodic film screenings. The film series aimed to deviate from the mainstream, screening contemporary art films across a plethora of genres, including horror, sci-fi, documentary, experimental, and more. Alt Girl Cinema stressed the importance of complex characters giving a multidimensional view of womanhood in today’s society.
